ESG Moneta
CK is a co-founder and CEO with ESG Moneta Co. Ltd., which has a business partnership with Korea Corporate Governance Service (CGS) and served as an affiliate professor in Finance department at Soongsil University from 2013. At ESG Moneta, he is an engagement leader supporting many consulting projects on pensions and responsible investments for asset managers and asset owners. He is also in charge of marketing and strategy materials on retirement pensions for salaried workers to prepare quality of life after retirement based on responsible investment philosophy.

Prior to ESG Moneta, CK was a Director in industry relations at CFA Institute in Hong Kong and was responsible for promoting CFA brand awareness in Asia Pacific region including Japan. He was also actively involved in future of finance project  (concentrating on pension reforms) and asset allocation committee for proprietary account. Prior to CFA Institute, CK was a head of research at Korea Investment & Securities, responsible for investment strategy for domestic and global institutions, prior to Korea Investment & Securities, CK was an equity CIO at KDB asset management, CIO at Eugene asset management, and head of research (& acting CIO) at National Pension Management Division at National Pension Service. And CK  volunteered and served as a president of CFA Korea Society from 2006~2010.

CK has co-authored “GIPS application in Korea” in 2007, has co-translated “Pension Fund Excellence” (Keith Ambachtsheer & Don Ezra) in Korean in 2008, and has written “How to become analyst & portfolio manager excellence?” in 2010.

CK graduated from Seoul National University with a BA in economics and later received his MA in economics (labor &  quantitative economics) from Seoul National University.
